Designer support in Orcas Beta 1

I tried to install the provider for Orcas Beta 1, but it didn't detect the installation, but did detect my regular VS2005. I installed it, then copied all the related registry entries in 8.0 to 9.0 and tadam! It appeared.

Unfortunatly, as soon as you press "Continue", a "Package Load Failure" with a message "Package 'SQLite Designer Package'..." appears.

You do then get a simple property editor for the ConnectionString. I entered the connection string and tested the connection, it worked. But on pressing OK, an error message box says "An unexpected error occured in the .NET Framework Data Provider for SQLite..."

    Any help/hints ?

Orcas is probably expecting a vNext provider.  I haven't gotten around to installing beta 1 just yet, but when I do I'll see about updating the vNext provider for it.

Thank you for you quick response. I'm willing to test it if you get it working.

I've had a chance to go over beta 2 of VS2008, and the designer definitely won't work with it yet.  There are several runtime dependencies that are not publically released yet.

If MS decides to release a preliminary Visual Studio SDK for 2008, I can get SQLite working with the Server Explorer.  We'll see what happens.
