    Backup API

Do you have any plans to support the Sqlite Backup API? http://www.sqlite.org/c3ref/backup_finish.html

Robert, Can you please implement and expose the 2 backup functions listed on http://www.sqlite.org/backup.html? I am working on an in-memory implementation that would greatly benefit.

This new feature would be great for my application. When will it be implemented ? Is it a priority for your project ?

    Re: Backup API

Is there any estimate as to when this might be implemented in an official release? It's looking like the backup API might be an extremely helpful tool for an upcoming feature in a product I'm working on and I'm trying to decide whether I should just hack up a way to use it, try to come up with a cleaner solution that might be submittable as a patch (which I don't want to do if an official implementation is well underway), or just wait for official support.

Is it likely this will be released any time soon?
