    Error in designer

    Hi, i have visual studio 2005 professional with latest service pack, version English, Windows spanish Version 1.0.65 installs so c00l but in 1.0.66 appears that!

    --------------------------- Microsoft Visual Studio ---------------------------

    Package Load Failure Package 'SQLite Designer Package' has failed to load properly ( GUID = {DCBE6C8D-0E57-4099-A183-98FF74C64D9C} ).

    Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is recommended, due to possible environment corruption. Would you like to disable loading this package in the future? You may use 'devenv /resetskippkgs' to re-enable package loading.

    --------------------------- Yes No ---------------------------

    I have looked for registry key and all seems good comparing with 1.0.65 version registry keys:

    The guid key in HKEY_LOC_MACHINE,SOFTWARE,Microsoft,VisualStudio,8.0,Packages is {DCBE6C8D-0E57-4099-A183-98FF74C64D9C} as error message shows.

    The items in that are:

    Default->SQLite Designer Package

    Class->SQLite.Designer.SQLitePackage

    CodeBase->E:\NETAdds\SQLite-1.0.66.0-binaries\bin\Designer\SQLite.Designer.DLL

    CompanyName->Black Castle Software, LLC

    ID->190(400)

    InProcServer32->mscoree.dll

    MinEdition->standard

    ProductName->SQLite Data Provider

    ProductVersion-> 1.0

    Subfolder -> Toolbox -> Default Items -> 3

    I have reinstalled and nothing. I dont know what to do :(

    Thnx for this release, and the others too!

    Robert,

    Same issue on VS2005.  When I Test the connection it works.  When I hit OK I get the Package 'SQLite Designer Package' has failed to load properly (GUID = {DCBE6C8D-0E57-4099-A183-98FF74C64D9C}) message.

     I searched the registry for that GUID and there was no reference to it.  I am a VB.net guy and no OS guru but it seams that if there is no ref in the reg that could be part of the problem...maybe?

     Thanks

    Re: Error in designer

    I use VB.net 2005 and designer-generated typed dataset. Within the dataset, there is a table adapter and the table adapter has a public Insert method. So I tried to call the Insert method with my own parameters but it causes an exception that says "object reference not set to an instance of an object". Most of the parameters are string, decimal and date that have been CTyped so it doesn't seem to be the problem of the parameters. Any idea?

    I'm also having a problem with VS2005.

    It keeps giving me the "Package Load Failure Package 'SQLite Designer Package' has failed to load properly" error.

    VS2005 Pro
    V 8.0.50727.762

    Any ideas, yet?

    Thanks,
