    New version

                          Hi,

The library is really great, but it's quite a while since you last updated. When can we expect an update?

     Thanks for the great work

Yes. Maybe we can build a new version based on 3.6.22 sqlite code. It's not too difficult.

I wonder if the project could benefit from additional developers. I created a new version with foreign key support in December and there were only minor edits to make it work. (Probably beginners luck and have missed something important but so far it is working.) I don't know how I could share my code changes. The hardest part was learning how the dll is designed and built - it's a win32 dll with a .net assembly imported into it.

There's a Sourceforge site for the project but there's to date only one contributor -- Robert, what's your philosophy on running this as a community open source project?  Right now it's all on you and that's both good and bad.  Good in that you have full control, bad in that it's all on you...

We are using System.Data.SQLite in commercial product and certainly interested in contributing to the project. What is the plan for having more contributors?

I'm not sure there is a plan for more contributors -- I haven't gotten a response from Robert.

Robert, if you don't want to accept additional contributors to your source base that's cool -- but would you be opposed to the community setting-up a community-run site to take the code forward in a parallel fashion?  This would take heat off you and give the community a place where they can contribute.

I've been working some insane hours at work for the last several months and haven't had any time to work on the SQLite provider.  E-mail me directly, robert at blackcastlesoft dot com if you are interested in contributing on sourceforge, and have a sourceforge account.

I know you're insanely busy these days (as are many of us!) but I emailed you my Sourceforge account info a few weeks ago and still can't get into the project...

I asked this question before but would you be opposed to the community setting-up a seperate community-run site to take the code forward in a parallel fashion?  That way you can evolve your driver on your own timeframe and let the community have  a place where they can evolve the codebase without owning the administrative overhead
